    We ensure every student and passenger understands the rules for safely boarding and exiting the bus, including staying six feet from the curb when waiting for the school bus, waiting for the driver’s signal that it’s safe to board or exit, walking at least 10-12 feet ahead of the school bus when crossing the street, and always walking in front of the school bus and not behind it.
