Tim Schubert

CEO

Tim Schubert oversees all of the staff at Trobec’s Bus Service. He has been in the transportation industry for over 30 years, and has a deep knowledge and understanding of how the industry works. His ability to see the entire picture has helped ensure success and the growth of Trobec’s Bus Service. Tim currently serves on the Minnesota Charter Bus Operator’s Association (MCBOA) board of directors.

Outside of the office, Tim enjoys his horses and spending time with his 4 children. He also enjoys cooking, barbequing, and entertaining guests. Some of his favorite vacation spots are Alaska and Hawaii.

Bethany Bertram

President

Bethany has been with Trobec's Bus since 2009. Growing up in the motorcoach and school bus business, Bethany's passion for this wonderful industry started to flourish. It began when she was a young girl, and she would beg her dad to take her with him on over the road motorcoach trips, or to the office during summer breaks from school. Her passions were amplified once she started to work professionally in the industry at 19 years of age. At Trobec's Bus, she has been able to work through many different roles and it has been not only educational but rewarding. Bethany started in the wash bay, and has held nearly every position in our organization. Currently, she holds the title of President, but still finds herself back in that same wash bay or driving a bus as needed. Her ability to be detail oriented, relate to customers, meet deadlines, and maintain customer relationships has helped her to succeed at Trobec’s Bus Service. Bethany currently serves on the Minnesota School Bus Operator’s Association (MSBOA) board of directors as the President of the Association. She also serves on the United Motorcoach Association (UMA) board of directors. 

When Bethany is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys traveling as much as she can and taking in as many adventures as possible. 

As VP of Sales, Becca is responsible for overseeing the Trobec's sales team to ensure they are meeting the needs of each and every customer. From booking customers on busy days to rearranging schedules and finding creative work-arounds, Becca is a solutions-focused thinker who puts customers first. She strives to connect with customers on a personal level and remember them each time they call. In her free time, Becca enjoys hanging out with her husband and young son. She loves golfing in the summertime, and loves a good glass of red wine any time!

Tracy Opatz

Director of Routing

As the Routing Manager at Trobec’s, Tracy wears many hats. She helps to adjust routes, add students, and advocate for drivers, listening to their needs and finding solutions. She hears the care in drivers’ voices when they talk about their students and sees how they look after their safety and growth. Tracy is motivated by their passion and dedication, and enjoys helping them to feel supported, safe and empowered to be the captain of their school buses. The wheels on Trobec’s buses truly turn thanks to teamwork! A self-professed “old soul,” Tracy enjoys spending her free time playing bingo, antiquing, and creatively repurposing her finds.

Carrie Drew

Student Behavior Specialist

Carrie spends her days at Trobec’s supporting drivers and students in creating a safe, positive environment during transportation. She is responsible for educating and training drivers to respond to all students' medical, physical, and emotional needs while being transported by Trobec’s. She is especially passionate about educating drivers on trauma, mental health in children, and the importance of modeling good behavior in their relationships with students. Carrie finds joy in the positive outcomes that occur when drivers make positive changes or think outside the box to support their students. In her spare time, Carrie cherishes every chance she’s able to get out on the Rum River near her home in Milaca and kayak with friends, family, or her dog.

Jocelyn Wiechmann

Wedding Transportation Coordinator

As Wedding Transportation Coordinator, Jocelyn helps guide couples through the planning process to create the perfect schedule for their special day. She is adept at listening closely to couples to determine their wants and needs regarding wedding day transportation, and uses her expertise to find the best solutions. Jocelyn especially enjoys the people she works with at Trobec’s, who treat every customer and fellow employee like family. Outside of work, Jocelyn loves spending time with her family, being active outdoors, vacationing, and her morning coffee.

Chad Heltemes

Director of Safety

Chad is responsible for training every new bus driver at Trobec’s. He performs yearly on-board evaluations and re-trains to ensure drivers feel safe and confident on the road. You can also find Chad behind the wheel of a school bus, motor coach, or lending a hand in the service shop as needed. Chad is especially proud of his work helping drivers who are new to large vehicles pass their school bus testing and succeed in their new role. In his spare time, Chad enjoys playing golf and going on long motorcycle rides.

Vinny McStott

Dispatcher & Scheduling Specialist

Vinny’s responsibilities at Trobec’s include scheduling drivers and buses, providing information to drivers to prepare them for upcoming trips, and coordinating with the service shop and cleaners to ensure buses are ready to go. With trips regularly being added, canceled and altered, Vinny works diligently with drivers and the sales team to make sure we get the job done! When not leveraging his creative thinking, organizational skills and strong communication skills to keep our buses running smoothly and on-time, Vinny enjoys indulging his lifelong love of sports through golfing or catching a game on TV.

Paul Brutger

Client Representative

Paul enjoys helping customers plan “bucket list” trips and other milestone events through his work at Trobec’s. He loves working with a great group of people to make transportation simple and painless. Paul thrives in the wintertime, and when not at work, he is an avid snowmobiler.
